Diploma of Shiatsu and Oriental Therapies
With a focus on the delivery of massage in a Traditional East-Asian medical framework, students will gain an
understanding of Traditional philosophy and diagnostic methods, as well as a range of techniques and skills utilised by Shiatsu practitioners.
The emphasis of this course is to give students an insight into the differences between Eastern and Western medicine and massage, and for them to gain an understanding of Traditional East Asian methods of assessment and treatment of individuals, as well as the skills necessary to provide an individualised Shiatsu massage treatment.
The Diploma of Shiatsu provides graduates with the highest-level industry qualification, and a broad array of career options.
